Inter-Medical College/ Institutional Quiz Contest

Inter-Medical College/ Institutional Quiz Contest is being organized by Nepal Paediatric Society (NEPAS) during the 5 th Congress of Paediatric Association of SAARC Countries (PAS) and the 14 th Congress of Nepal Paediatric Society (CPNS). The guidelines for the same are as follows:

1. Eligible Colleges and Institutions:
   1. All Medical Colleges under the Tribhuvan University and Kathmandu University that conduct undergraduate MBBS courses.
   2. All Medical Institutions with an active Paediatric Department.
2. Eligible Candidates:
   1. Any final year MBBS student.
   2. Any medical officer working in the department of paediatrics.
3. Quiz Knock out:
   1. Depending on the number of teams the quiz will be conducted on a knockout basis.
   2. The final two or three teams will be competing during the conference schedule.
4. Number of participants in each team has to be from a minimum of two.
5. The respective Institutions will conduct preliminary Quiz knock out and they will forward the participating team's name to the NEPAS as to who would participate in final round during the conference schedule.
6. Questions will be based on the MBBS Paediatric syllabus with some practical and clinical aspects also.
7. Single answer, Multiple choice and rapid fire questions will be asked along with a couple of audio visual rounds.
8. On case of confusion or controversies the panel of juries will suggest the corrections but the judge’s discretion will be final.
9. Attractive prizes and appropriate certificates will be awarded for 2nd runner’s up, 1st runner’s up and the winning teams.
10. The entire expenses (travel, fooding, lodging, conference registration fee will be borne by the participating team members / institution ).
